Missoula has it all. It has charm and beauty. It is a river town, and mountain town, in a college town.  University of Montana students enjoy endless outdoor opportunities in a warm, welcoming community.  To top it off, they receive a top-rate education from the University of Montana.

If you or your future grad is in the middle of building a list of colleges to visit, consider adding the University of Montana.  Now is as good a time as any to visit Missoula. Fall is in the air, the campus is bustling, and the local scene is always happening.

Need another reason to plan your visit now? The Admission office offers “UM Days,” which are scheduled for October and November. “UM Days” includes campus and housing tours, presentations, student panels, and lunch on campus. They are highly popular and well attended. You can see the schedule and register online here.

Need another reason? The Montana Grizzly Football season is in full swing. So take in the full experience by attending a home game. Consider the Homecoming game against Northern Arizona on September 26. Homecoming week offers an array of celebrations and events. Here’s the list of events starting on September 20. If Homecoming Week doesn’t fit your schedule, plan a visit during Family Weekend on October 23-25 when the Griz take on North Dakota.

While you’re making your college visit plan to Missoula, plan to reserve your car rental through Thrifty Missoula.
